Booking A Therapy Session

Booking a therapy session is a positive first step. You can use the system below to choose a time that works for you, or contact me directly if you have any questions.

I offer an initial online consultation for individuals based in the UK and internationally. This is a space for us to explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, and whether working together feels right for you.

During the initial consultation, we will:

  • Discuss what has been bringing you to seek support
  • Explore your current challenges and concerns
  • Talk about your goals for therapy
  • Answer any questions you may have
  • Consider whether we are a good fit to work together
  • We will also develop an initial treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs, outlining a clear path forward and setting the stage for our work together.
  • There is no pressure to continue — this is a space for you to explore your options.
  • Languages: English & Mandarin Chinese

FEES AND SERVICES

Fees for Self-Funded Therapy Clients

Fees for Self-Funded Therapy Clients

Fees for Self-Funded Therapy Clients

1. Initial Online Assessment

Platform: Zoom or Microsoft Teams

Fee: £120 per session

Duration: 50 minutes – 1 hour

2. Individual Therapy

Fee: £150 per session

Format: Online or In-person

Location: Queen Anne Street, London, UK

Online: Zoom

Duration: 50 minutes

Please note: I do not offer brief or free consultations. Based on my professional experience, very short free consultations are often insufficient for clients to properly explore their concerns and may leave them feeling vulnerable without adequate time for containment and closure, which I do not consider clinically appropriate.

I therefore offer a 50–60 minute initial assessment session, which provides appropriate time to explore your concerns, treatment plans and discuss next steps.

Therapy Q&A

Confidentiality & Professional Conduct

Expert Witness Psychology

  • Collaborative Approach

I believe that therapy is most effective when we work together collaboratively. To maximize the benefits of our sessions, I recommend committing to weekly appointments. Regular attendance is crucial for making consistent progress and achieving the best outcomes.

  • What Happens After the Assessment

If you choose to proceed, we will typically arrange weekly sessions at a consistent time that suits your schedule. Based on your individual situation, we can either agree on a set number of sessions or keep the arrangement open-ended. My aim is to provide a flexible and supportive framework that adapts to your unique journey and helps you achieve your goals.

Online Therapy

I currently offer online therapy

through Zoom and Microsoft Teams Meetings.

1. Before engaging in online therapy, please ensure that your internet connection is stable enough to support a Zoom session.

2. Once the session slot is arranged, that time will not be available for other clients. Please note that therapy fees for sessions cancelled with less than one week's notice are chargeable in full unless there are extenuating circumstances.

3. Ensure you are in a quiet, confidential room where you can't be overheard.

4. The online therapy fee is payable by bank transfer 48  hours before the session to secure your booking.

Confidentiality & Professional Conduct

Confidentiality & Professional Conduct

Your confidentiality is paramount in our work together. Everything you share with me during our online therapy booking is kept strictly confidential, with a few important exceptions. For instance, if you express a clear intent to harm yourself and are taking steps towards that end, and if I am unable to dissuade you, I am obligated to contact your doctor to ensure your safety.

Should we encounter each other outside of our sessions, such as on the street or at social events, I will respect your privacy and refrain from initiating contact. This approach is intended to protect your confidentiality and is not a reflection of rudeness.

Addressing Concerns

If you feel that therapy is not meeting your needs, it is essential that we address these concerns openly. These discussions are a crucial part of the therapeutic process, much like the grit that forms a pearl. I adhere to the ethical guidelines set by the UKCP. If you believe that there has been an ethical breach, you have the right to file a complaint, which will be handled by the appropriate channels. Additionally, any psychological assessment we conduct will be approached with the utmost care and consideration for your privacy. If you have questions regarding therapy fees, please feel free to discuss them with me.
