what is mcet/ccet?

MINDFULNESS CALLIGRAPHY ENHANCED THERAPY (MCET)® Chinese Calligraphy Enhanced Therapy (CCET)©

I developed MCET/CCET intervention during my seven years of doctorate training in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy.

  •  As a culturally sensitive and non-threatening approach to working with Chinese and Asian heritage communities internationally.
  •  An innovative and integrative approach also draws on cognitive, mindfulness, and psychoanalytic free association theories.
  •  This process can be very effective and help the client gain access to formerly problematic experiences and turn them into resources.
  • The sessions can be conducted in Chinese or English, usually 4-12 sessions.

This is the standard set to use for the  MCET approach, you don’t need to have calligraphy practice experience and the session can be either in Chinese or English.  If you want to know about this approach, please contact me for more details.
