I believe in a personalised approach to therapy, recognising that there is no 'one size fits all' solution. Instead, I adopt an integrative and culturally sensitive stance, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to address your unique challenges.
Together, we will work collaboratively to understand your difficulties and develop a tailored plan to achieve your goals and foster meaningful change in your life. My approach incorporates:
By combining these diverse practices, I aim to provide a well-rounded and effective therapy experience. I look forward to working with you to create positive and lasting changes in your life.
If you are dealing with any of these concerns, I am equipped to provide support and guidance tailored to your needs.
I provide a warm and secure environment where you can comfortably express and explore your concerns, feelings, and thoughts. My approach is to work collaboratively with you, ensuring that we thoroughly address your needs. Together, we will seek to deepen your self-understanding and enhance your well-being, resilience, and healing.
Collaborative Approach
I believe that therapy is most effective when we work together collaboratively. To maximize the benefits of our sessions, I recommend committing to weekly appointments. Regular attendance is crucial for making consistent progress and achieving the best outcomes.

What to Expect in the First Session
In our initial session, we will assess whether my therapeutic approach is a good match for your needs and if we can work effectively together. This meeting is a chance for you to voice any questions or concerns you might have, with no obligation to continue beyond this session. We will also develop an initial treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs, outlining a clear path forward and setting the stage for our work together.
What Happens After the Assessment
If you choose to proceed, we will typically arrange weekly sessions at a consistent time that suits your schedule. Based on your individual situation, we can either agree on a set number of sessions or keep the arrangement open-ended. My aim is to provide a flexible and supportive framework that adapts to your unique journey and helps you achieve your goals.
I currently offer online appointments via Zoom/Skype/FaceTime.
I am fully trained and qualified to provide online therapy.
1. Before engaging in online therapy, please ensure that your internet connection is good enough and fast enough to sustain a Zoom /Skype call; otherwise, we will use a telephone call.
2. Once the session is arranged, they will not be used to see other clients. Sessions that are cancelled with less than one week's notice are chargeable in full unless there are extenuating circumstances.
3. Ensure you are in a quiet, confidential room where you can't be overheard.
4. The online therapy fee is payable by bank transfer 24 hours before the session.
Your confidentiality is paramount in our work together. Everything you share with me is kept strictly confidential, with a few important exceptions. For instance, if you express a clear intent to harm yourself and are taking steps towards that end, and if I am unable to dissuade you, I am obligated to contact your doctor to ensure your safety.
Should we encounter each other outside of our sessions, such as on the street or at social events, I will respect your privacy and refrain from initiating contact. This approach is intended to protect your confidentiality and is not a reflection of rudeness.
Addressing Concerns
If you feel that therapy is not meeting your needs, it is essential that we address these concerns openly. These discussions are a crucial part of the therapeutic process, much like the grit that forms a pearl. I adhere to the ethical guidelines set by the UKCP. If you believe that there has been an ethical breach, you have the right to file a complaint, which will be handled by the appropriate channels.
I abide by the BACP/UKCP guidelines to help clients achieve improved mental health and well-being goals.
I have updated Professional indemnity insurance
